Who is responsible?
Ali Aarbaj, trading as DataBite, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) based in the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KvK 86802976. For privacy questions and requests, email databitesolutions@gmail.com. DataBite Games is our studio brand, not a separate legal entity.
Current build and intended launch
Sticker Riddle is intended for a general audience, including children. The current Android build uses test advertising and live serving is disabled. The agreed launch plan is optional, non-personalized Google AdMob rewarded ads only, with no mediation partners configured. This non-personalized-only policy describes the intended public release. Pre-release test builds may have different advertising settings and are not represented as the public release. Purchases and notifications are possible future features, not current features described by this notice. Intended launch regions include Latin America, English-speaking markets including the United Kingdom, United States and Australia, and European markets including the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and other German-speaking countries. Actual availability depends on the selected app-store countries; a complete country list has not yet been finalized. This notice does not assert that iOS has the same advertising configuration.
Local game data
The game bundles its puzzles and artwork. Progress, preferences and gameplay state are stored on your device; the current game has no player account or studio-operated player backend. This information is used to provide gameplay and retain your choices. Where this involves processing personal data by us, the legal basis is performance of the game service you request. We do not receive a copy of local progress through a studio player backend. Operating system backups may retain app data depending on your settings.
Age information
The current setup uses an entered birth date temporarily to determine an age group. It stores the group rather than the full birth date: under 16, 16–17, adult, or unknown. These are product age groups, not a determination of every country’s legal consent age. The group is used to configure age-related advertising restrictions; it is not sent to a studio player backend. Child and unknown-age groups are configured for child-directed treatment, teens for teen treatment, and all requests for a general ad-content rating. Age-related settings are used to restrict advertising according to the player’s age group and applicable requirements.
Rewarded ads and data
Watching an ad is optional. The planned reward is five reveals when the advertising SDK confirms the reward has been earned. Google Mobile Ads may collect and share IP addresses, approximate location derived from the IP address, device and advertising identifiers, app/ad interactions and diagnostics for advertising delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Non-personalized advertising is contextual rather than based on past behavior, but it can still involve identifiers or local storage. Test advertising must not be assumed to involve no data processing.
Consent and privacy choices
Where applicable, consent must be obtained before device storage or identifier use that requires consent. Non-personalized ads do not remove that requirement. The app integrates Google User Messaging Platform and checks whether ads may be requested. The publisher has configured and published its European regulations message in AdMob. The consent message is intended to be shown to eligible users through the app’s consent flow. For the public release, ads are requested only where the applicable consent and age-related requirements allow them. Where required by the consent system, Settings shows “Ad privacy choices” to review or withdraw choices. You can decline or withdraw consent; some advertising features may then be unavailable.
Purposes and legal bases
The intended purposes are providing gameplay, applying age-appropriate settings, delivering an optional ad reward, measuring advertising and preventing fraud. Consent will be used where required for advertising-related storage and processing; an action to watch a rewarded ad is not blanket consent to all advertising processing. Our legitimate interest in protecting the service and preventing abuse applies only where it is compatible with player rights, with particular attention to children. Google’s purposes and legal bases are explained in its privacy information and the applicable consent message.
Support and contact information
If you contact us, we process your email address, any name you supply, your message, attachments and relevant technical details you choose to provide. We use these to answer questions and resolve issues, based on our legitimate interest in providing support. For requests concerning legal privacy rights, processing is also necessary to meet our legal obligations. Providing support details is voluntary, but we may be unable to help without enough information. Do not send passwords, identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information. Support email is handled through Google Gmail. We do not use it for marketing.
Retention and deletion
Local progress and preferences remain until removed or reset, subject to operating system backups. Clearing app data or uninstalling can remove the local copy but may not delete backups. We cannot recover or remotely delete local-only data through a player account. We retain support correspondence for up to twelve months after the issue is resolved, then delete it from our mailbox. We may retain necessary records longer where required by law or needed for a specific ongoing dispute or legal claim. Gmail processes and deletes mailbox data under its own service and backup procedures; our twelve-month rule does not mean every provider backup is erased immediately. Google determines retention for information processed through its advertising services according to the data type, service purpose and applicable legal requirements; its privacy and retention information is linked below. We cannot promise immediate deletion of data held independently by Google.
Recipients and international processing
Google receives advertising and consent information through its SDKs and support correspondence through Gmail; its relevant service providers may also process that information. No AdMob mediation partners are currently configured. Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Google describes applicable international transfer safeguards in its privacy policy. Google’s privacy policy identifies the responsible entities and describes safeguards such as adequacy frameworks and standard contractual clauses where applicable. Contact us for information about processing connected with our game or support.
Your privacy rights
Under the GDPR, depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email databitesolutions@gmail.com to exercise your rights. We normally respond within one month; if a permitted extension is necessary, we explain it within that month. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity. You may complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or the supervisory authority where you live or work. If a request concerns only device-local information or information Google processes independently, we will explain the relevant controls or contact route rather than ask for unnecessary identifiers.
Future features and notice updates
If purchases, notifications, accounts or other services are added, we will update the notice before the new processing starts and obtain any consent required. Future plans do not mean those features currently collect data. The effective date above identifies the current version of this notice.
