Who is responsible?

Ali Aarbaj, trading as DataBite, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) based in the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KvK 86802976. For privacy questions and requests, email databitesolutions@gmail.com. DataBite Games is our studio brand, not a separate legal entity.

Scope and website features

This notice covers databite.games and email support concerning the website. The current website has no visitor accounts, contact forms, newsletters, advertising scripts or integrated visitor analytics. Fonts and illustrations are served with the site rather than requested from external font services. Each game has a separate privacy notice.

Website delivery and security

Cloudflare delivers and protects the website. Website requests include your IP address, requested URL, browser and device headers, request time and potentially referring-page information. These are used to deliver pages, maintain availability, diagnose faults and prevent abuse. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website. Cloudflare may process technical and security information through its infrastructure and service providers.

Cookies and browser storage

The website application does not set tracking cookies, use advertising identifiers or write visitor data to browser storage. Hosting security features may have their own storage behavior if enabled. Cloudflare may use security-related cookies where needed to protect the website, as described in its linked privacy information.

Contacting us

If you contact us, we process your email address, any name you supply, your message, attachments and relevant technical details you choose to provide. We use these to answer questions and resolve issues, based on our legitimate interest in providing support. For requests concerning legal privacy rights, processing is also necessary to meet our legal obligations. Providing support details is voluntary, but we may be unable to help without enough information. Do not send passwords, identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information. Our support mailbox is hosted using Google Gmail. Google receives email content and associated information to provide its service, subject to its applicable terms and privacy policy. We do not use support emails to send marketing messages.

Retention

We retain support correspondence for up to twelve months after the issue is resolved, then delete it from our mailbox. We may retain necessary records longer where required by law or needed for a specific ongoing dispute or legal claim. Gmail processes and deletes mailbox data under its own service and backup procedures; our twelve-month rule does not mean every provider backup is erased immediately. We have not added a separate visitor-log database to this site. The retention and availability of hosting and security logs depend on the Cloudflare services and settings used; technical data is retained as needed for delivery, security, troubleshooting and applicable legal obligations, under the relevant service settings and provider retention criteria.

Recipients and international processing

Recipients include Cloudflare for website delivery and security, Google for Gmail, and their relevant service providers. Information may be processed outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Cloudflare describes reliance on its EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification for covered US transfers and standard contractual clauses for other applicable transfers. Google describes its international safeguards in its privacy policy. Our support email uses a standard Gmail account. Provider privacy information and international transfer safeguards are linked below; you can contact us for further information about processing related to our services.

Your privacy rights

Under the GDPR, depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email databitesolutions@gmail.com to exercise your rights. We normally respond within one month; if a permitted extension is necessary, we explain it within that month. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity. You may complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or the supervisory authority where you live or work.

Changes and game privacy

We will update this notice when our website practices change and revise the effective date above. For local game progress, age handling and rewarded advertising, read the separate Sticker Riddle privacy notice. Website visitors are not automatically enrolled in game advertising.
